I'm not sure where I'm going with this train of thought. But I do know that sleep does wonders for anxiety in my life. It interrupts my thoughts and resets my brain. It's interesting how our bodies were made to rest and how our bodies can heal while they're sleeping.
So when anxious thoughts and overwhelming feelings try to take over, I try to remember that most of it probably stems from some biological need that's not being met. And that it will probably go away once I meet those biological needs. It might be different for you, but part of the wellness journey is learning what you need for yourself to thrive.
